Hotel Benczúr is located in Budapest, in Benczúr utca, which lies parallel to the World Heritage listed Andrássy út. The hotel, in addition to its excellent inner city location and easy access, is still a real little "green island", shut away from the noise of the city in a quiet and elegant position.The neighbourhood offers several opportunities for reaxation, with the nearby Városliget (City Park) Szépművészeti Múzeum (Museum of Fine Arts), the Műcsarnok (Contemporary Art Gallery) Széchenyi Gyógyfürdő (Syéchenyi Bath), Vajdahunyad vár (Castle), Vidámpark (Amusement Park) and the Fővárosi Nagycirkusz (Circus) just a walk away.
Amongst the rich sites of the capital the followings are also worth seeing; the panorama of the Danube with the Castle and the great buildings of Pest viewed from the Budai Várnegyed (Buda Castle Quarter) is internationally recognised and listed among the World Heritage sites, also the Parlament building, the Gellért Hill and Bath. In addition to historical sites the city provides numerous excellent opportunities for culture lovers, through the Nemzeti Színház (National Theatre) to the Opera, there are several hundreds of museums and galleries, theatres and baths to visit.

Access:
Budapest is easily accessible in 30 min. from Ferihegy Airport. The organisers of The Scout Symposium will run a 'Meet & Greet' service at Budapest Airport to help participants get to the venue. The hotel is also wikthin walking distance from Budapest's main train station, Keleti.
Budapest Ferihegy Airport (BUD) – Organisers will provide a shuttle service to / from Budapest airport for all participants by bus or minibus. The journey takes about 30 minutes and we will do our best to avoid participants having to wait for too long in the terminal.
Budapest Main Train Station (Budapest Keleti) – Participants arriving by train to Budapest can walk 20 min to the hotel or take the bus no. 30 or 30A up to Benczur Street stop and walk the last 5 min. to the hotel. Click here for nthe timetable of the buses from Keleti.
